Robert Aue – Inspector

My name is Robert Aue and I am a home inspector for Bent Nail Inspections. I was born in Fort Worth Texas but grew up in California, where I spent the most of my life in the Bay Area. Although the Bay Area was home, in 2016 I was finally able accomplish my long time goal of relocating and moving away from the city. After traveling to Idaho I knew I had found the place to call home.

l was introduced to construction by my brother, who got me my first job installing garage doors and flooring on the weekends and after school. From there, I quickly began expanding my skill set from installing granite countertops to masonry, carpentry and electrical. Soon, I would be doing complete remodels and additions. Over many years, I have since gained ample insight and experience in construction as well as meeting the needs of homeowners. By putting my heart into every project I take on, I have found that nothing beats the sense of pride I get from a job well done. Be it a remodel or a home inspection, every job deserves to be performed with integrity and passion.

In my free time I enjoy getting outdoors. Whether it be camping, hiking or just enjoying a sunset on my front porch. Being outside, getting some fresh air and enjoying natures beauty, Ive found gives me a great sense of peace. I also like to travel, spending time with my friends, and taking on home improvement projects around the house. Fitness and health are very important to me as well, so I spend time in the kitchen preparing nutritious meals and making sure I find time for exercise throughout the week. I enjoy a good non-fiction book and filling my mind with things that inspire personal growth. I find its not only an investment into your personal growth, but that it brings value to the community and those you serve.
